From the blog...

This year has been a great ride, thank you everyone who has been a part of it.
Here’s what we’ve done, in 40 seconds..!

We started the year with a live video session at Brighton Road Recording Studios with Barney Douglas filming, and in March released the EP Between Darkness and Day – produced and mixed by the excellent Rhiannon mair, mastered by Pete Maher Mastering, artwork inspired by and based around a photo by Tracy Thompson, launched with an immense show at St Giles-in-the-fields organised and superhosted by KAL LAVELLE and complimented by a beautifully atmospheric video for This Is The Only Way For Me To Speak by Dan Coffey. Phew!

On to the Summer and we were fortunate enough to play a sold out show at the gorgeous Green Note to launch Bones as a single, where we sweltered our way through some amazing collaborativelty written songs with Antonio LulicKimberly Anne and Adrian Roye. What an awesome experience that was!

Then came the beautifully crafted video for Bones by Gareth Gray with make up and styling by Sian Elan Studios.
We had an enjoyably adventurous mini tour with Minnie Birch in May/June, with great help and support from Colin Weston of Independent Music Collective.

We were lucky enough to be invited to be the first musicians to record a For Folk’s Sake session by Duncan Martin in June.

Throughout the year we hosted our monthly Stop Look Listen night at The Finsbury Pub, and also ran a series of Summer Sunday afternoon shows on our local Myatts Field Park bandstand, where we met and heard a huge amount of wonderful musicians. There were soooo many but to mention a few.. Hannah BrownMIRIJake MorleyAnna PancaldiScribble VictoryJack Harris – Singer/SongwriterJoléMarc OliverJasmin JonesEllipsisJake Downs and Bryde.. the list was so long, sorry I’ve missed lots!

Another gig highlight was an unplugged set at our favourite coffee house HUCKS, where we wrote them a theme tune!

Our Autumn highlight was playing with Roxanne de Bastion at her single launch in November at The Old Queens Head – a really splendid night with a very lovely audience.

We rounded off the year with a song featured on Lauren Rich‘s amazing charity album No Bum Notes, and have been working on new music, which we can’t wait to share in 2016.

We’re so happy to hear that we’ll be featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 Music radio show on 2nd January at 2am (Sunday night) on a ‘mixtape of his personal selection of tracks from BBC Introducing’.
What an encouraging start to 2017!

Thank you all for being a part of our musical life this year, to the people who helped make the music get out there, the musicians we shared the stage with and to anyone who came to see us play live or bought or streamed the music.

Wishing you a wonderful 2017,
Love from Zoe and Will. xxx
